Green Eggs and Ham

am Sam

am Sam

Sam I am
That Sam-I-am!
Than Sam-I-am!
I do not like
that Sam-I-am!
Do you like
green eggs and ham?
I do not like them,
Sam-I-am.
I do not like
green eggs and ham.

-Dr Seuss

I shall sadly have to disagree with Sam.

It's Seuss, not Zeus

So, Mebourne city, Sunday morning, the streets are busy with enthusiastic jostlers and joggers (I was there on some run themed day). After wandering past the crowds and the older buildings I eventually stumble upon a narrow alley way packed to overflowing with the scents of brunches, aromas of coffees, the chatter of the crowds. Absolutely mind boggling just how many cafes existed in this street, and not one of these could be termed average. We settled on one which was cosy, hip, and slightly overwhelmed looking staff - that is unfair, I would like to say they were friendly and interesting, and as a result of the Melbourne [running] races were moving at incredible speeds to ensure everyone was well attended to.

Green Eggs and Ham!

Firstly, sadly, they did not refer to this dish as Green Eggs and Ham, this is purely something which I spent the whole morning musing over.

Eggs (scrambled) contain pesto and feta. Again, serve with bacon and a yummy toasted bred and it's simple but effective.

Om nom.
